The goal
is peace – a peace that can no longer be disturbed and a love that has no opposite (any more).
“You have one test, as sure as God, by which you recognize if what you learned is true. If you are wholly free of fear of any kind, and if all those who meet or even think of you share in your perfect peace, then you can be sure that you have learned God’s lesson and not yours. Unless all this is true, there are dark lessons in your minds which hurt and hinder you and everyone around you. The absence of perfect peace means but one thing: you think you do not will for God’s Son what His Father wills for him. Every dark lesson teaches this in one form or another. And every bright lesson, with which the Holy Spirit will replace the dark ones you do not accept and hide, teaches you that you will with the Father unto His Son.” OE T-VII.14.63
When I imagine a world where nobody is afraid anymore, I realize that it is a world that I want to experience. Because that would be a world without attack, without lack, without distrust and without separation. It would be a world in which my dark side is no longer reflected on the canvas of the world and I no longer attack anyone for the things I don’t like about myself.
The real world that emerges when the “dark lessons” we have taught ourselves are all brought into the light of truth is beautiful!
“Can you imagine how beautiful those you forgive will look to you? In no fantasy have you ever seen anything so lovely. Nothing you see here, sleeping or waking, comes near to such loveliness. And nothing you will value like unto this nor hold so dear. Nothing that you remember that made your heart jseem to sing with joy has ever brought you even a little part of the happiness this sight will bring you.
For you will see the Son of God. You will behold the beauty which the Holy Spirit loves to look upon and which He thanks the Father for. He was created to see this for you until you learn to see it for yourself. And His teaching leads to seeing it and giving thanks with Him.
This loveliness is not a fantasy. It is the real world, bright and clean and new with everything sparkling under the open sun. Nothing is hidden here, for everything has been forgiven, and there are no fantasies to hide the truth.”
